Goodnight From Me is an adult-managed bedtime-story app. We collect only what is needed to create, save, purchase, and play private family stories. We do not sell personal data, show ads, or create child accounts.

Information we process

Adult account: email address or the identity shared by Google or Apple.
Family details: a child nickname, age band, optional interests and sensitivities supplied by an adult.
Stories and media: story choices, generated text, narration, playback state, and optional private Memory Vault photos.
Family voice: only if an adult chooses voice setup and completes the separate consent and verification steps. ElevenLabs processes the recording and private voice model for narration. Model-training use is disabled on our account. A voice can be revoked and deleted in the app.
Purchases: RevenueCat and the Apple or Google store process store transaction status and entitlement records so the adult can buy, restore, and manage access.
Optional app analytics and attribution: if the adult chooses to share app analytics, PostHog and AppsFlyer receive a small fixed list of app events with account and device identifiers. We do not put child names, story text, photos, voice audio, or email addresses in those events.

Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication and private data storage, Google Cloud for hosting and story processing, ElevenLabs for optional family-voice processing, RevenueCat and the Apple/Google stores for purchases, PostHog for optional product analytics, and AppsFlyer for optional install attribution. Providers process data for us under their terms and agreements.

Children

Only adults create and manage accounts. Information about a child is entered by an adult and is limited to what the adult chooses to use for a bedtime story. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Your choices

Voice setup, photos, personalized family details, and app analytics are optional. The adult chooses whether to share app analytics and can open Settings at any time to turn app analytics off. That stops future optional PostHog analytics and AppsFlyer attribution collection. Purchases and entitlements continue to work because purchase processing is necessary to provide paid access and is separate from the optional analytics choice.

Adults can revoke a voice, request voice deletion, or request account and family-data deletion. Some limited records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, purchase accounting, backups, or security.
